This is Movement beer delivery near me
When we launched Door Dash in 2013, everything was very different. At that time, we were called "Palo Alto Delivery" and only had eight menus to choose from.
But I always believe in the potential of Door Dash and what we have. And even though we have spent four years - facing down - working hard to build our business and improving our services, we never share our stories. Until today.
My founders and I started Door Dash to help local businesses. Growing up in the Midwest, I see my mother work endlessly in her restaurant, where I work with her to help achieve her dreams in America. He eventually saves enough money from his restaurant to start a medical clinic and return to his roots as a doctor.
I have seen my mother's story everywhere. Everyone is eager to fulfill their own American dream. Whether you are a working mother looking for a difference at work and at home, a student is looking for a flexible way to pay for school fees, or restaurant owners who are focused on developing your business, we respect you and your spirit, ideals, and resources the power you show every day. At Door Dash, we stand for people like you - people who are always looking for improvements to realize their full potential every day.
Our mission is to provide the best by connecting people and possibilities. For our users, we help you spend more time with friends and family, or continue your favorite projects. For Dashers, we offer flexible job opportunities to help you achieve greater goals. For Merchants, we improve your reach and help grow your business.
To help tell our story, we launch a number of new initiatives to provide the best in our community.
You will see a new logo and a visual identity that reflects the spirit of Door Dash. With the logo being refreshed, we reinforce all the qualities that are always nurtured by the company: make bold, endless, and fast-moving moves, stand for reliability and efficiency.
During the first wave of our "Deliver Good" movement, for every Door Dash order placed from now until the end of January, we will donate one meal in partnership¹ with Feeding America.
Finally, we started the DASH Project, our new initiative focuses on addressing food waste and massive hunger. The restaurant has an average £ 100,000 meal a year, and only 1.4% is donated. The biggest barrier to donations, according to 78% of restaurants? Not having logistics facilities to be sent to food and shelter banks. To help, we have launched programs in New York, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area, and there will be more to come in 2018.
I would like to thank you personally for making Door Dash successful because now - we will not be here without you. We feel humble to be part of your journey and what it represents. And I hope you will join us in the move to give us the best.
Up and so on!
